Add an International Tour Stop in Mexico.
We encourage everyone who is doing a tour through the west coast to consider playing shows in Tijuana, Mexicali and Ensenada. It is very difficult to get paid for shows without having a fanbase in Mexico, but a show in Tijuana or other border city can help build a market for your music throughout Mexico. Promoters, bands and venue owners in the region are connected to a wide network of music industry professionals in Mexico and often collaborate with colleagues in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and other cities in Mexico.
Our most notable connection is helping Voxhaul Broadcast connect with Festival 72810 with Modest Mouse through Mousike as well as connecting Tropical Popsicle (SD) to the All My Friends Posada with Beach Fossils.
We encourage bands to contact each other and promoters in the region. Unfortunately, we are not assisting with matches at the time, but please feel free to ask us for a reference or advice.

For Touring Bands looking to make some extra cash on their drive to the SD/TJ region, we will be trying to post paid psychology, economics, and neuroscience studies from nearby universities, mostly from UCSD and SDSU. LEGAL
This site is only meant to provide a listing of interested parties and aggregate information. We currently have found no information on the legal process for paid performances in Mexico and bands who are being paid should make sure that whoever is promoting the show guides them through the process of crossing the border. Bands should also make sure that the total value of their equipment falls within the limits of what is allowed within the country.
